Am I paying double premiums for my MediShield Life and Integrated Shield Plan?

You are not paying double premiums for your MediShield Life and Integrated Shield Plan (IP). There is also no duplicate coverage if you have purchased an IP through a private insurer. An IP consists of a MediShield Life component and an additional private insurance coverage component (please see below illustration).
