How long does it take to process my top-up application?

Recurring cash top-ups via GIRO

(participating bank users)

  • We will deduct the monies from your bank account on the 15th of the month (or the next working day if 15th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday).
  • In general, your top-up will be credited within seven working days after we receive your payment.
  • Note: Please ensure that you maintain sufficient funds in your bank account for GIRO deductions. Some banks may charge an administrative fee for each unsuccessful deduction.

CPF transfer

 One-time CPF transfer

In general, processed within the same day.

However, a longer processing time may be required for certain transfers, such as first-time transfers to loved ones, as checks to verify relationships will need to be conducted. The processing time for such scenarios is generally five working days upon receipt of application. 

Recurring CPF transfers to self for members aged 55 and above

Monthly CPF transfers will take effect from the 18th of the following month upon successful application.

 
In some cases, we may require additional time to verify your application. We will contact you within five working days to request for more information.
