What are the types of Corppass roles?
Here is a summary of the various Corppass roles:
Registered Officer (RO)
Applicable only for Singapore-registered entities with a Unique Entity Number (UEN).
Refers to the key appointment holder of the company, such as a Director in ACRA BizFile, with the authority to appoint Corppass Admins.
To manage Corppass Admins (approve or reject applications), the RO must hold a Singpass account but does not need a Corppass account in that entity.
If the RO wishes to perform transactions, they will need to obtain a Corppass account of any of the roles listed below.
Corppass Administrator (Admin)
Responsible for managing Corppass accounts, including assigning roles and permissions within the organisation.
For Singapore-registered entities (with a UEN), Admins must be Singapore NRIC/FIN holders.
Corppass Sub-Administrator (Sub-Admin)
Assists the Admin in managing accounts and permissions but with more limited access.
Corppass Enquiry User
Has view-only access to the system for inquiries.
Corppass User
A standard user with permissions to transact with government digital services.
