What is a "Registered Officer" (RO) in Corppass?
"Registered Officer" (RO) is a role in Corppass that refers to individuals who hold principal authority within an entity, such as a Director, Owner, or Partner. These individuals are formally registered with the relevant Unique Entity Number (UEN) issuance agencies.
Corppass retrieves entity and position holder data from UEN issuance agencies (such as ACRA), and determines which positions qualify to act in the capacity of a RO on Corppass.
The key responsibilities of a RO are to authorise and manage individuals to serve as Corppass Administrators (or Corppass Admin for short) for their entity. (If a RO wants to manage users, transact on behalf, and/or directly oversee the entity’s Corppass activities, he/she may choose to register as a Corppass Admin him/herself.)
