What is "H1, H2 and H3" in Junior Colleges?

To provide flexibility for students to offer subjects at different levels of depth and breadth, junior colleges (JCs) and Millennia Institute (MI) offer a variety of subjects at Higher 1 (H1), Higher 2 (H2) and Higher 3 (H3), and different subject combinations for the Pre-U Course.

H1 level

H2 Level

H3 Level

Equivalent to half of H2 in breadth but similar to H2

in depth

Equivalent to the old term ‘A’ Level subjects

Subjects with more advanced content. Students offering H3 subjects must offer the corresponding subject at H2 level.
