Who needs to comply with B-RID requirements?
UA weighing above 250 grams and operating outdoors under the following conditions must comply with B-RID requirements when:
Activities conducted for educational purposes using UA with total weight of up to 7 kilograms; or
Activities conducted for recreational purposes using UA with a total weight of up to 25 kilograms; or
Training and assessments conducted by UA training and assessment organisations (UATO); or
Activities conducted under the scope of the Operator Permit, and the activity granted a waiver by CAAS from the usage of the CFMS “FlyItSafe” mobile application.
Note: B-RID is not required for activities conducted indoors.
