What is the penalty if I point a laser light or any other form of light an aircraft?
It is an offence to point a laser light or any other form of light at an aircraft. Anyone convicted of this offence may be fined up to $20,000. Repeat offenders may be fined up to $40,000, or imprisoned for up to 15 months, or both.
