What is the validity period of the Private Pilot License (PPL)?
Your PPL validity period depends on your age:
Your Age | PPL Valid For |
|---|---|
Under 40 years old | 60 months (5 years) |
40 to 49 years old | 24 months (2 years) |
50 to 59 years old | 12 months (1 year) |
60 years old and above | 6 months |
Example: If you are 35 years old, your PPL will be valid for 60 months. If you are 45 years old, it will be valid for 24 months.
