How do I apply for a design approval such as Supplemental Type Certificate for Aircraft Design (STC), Singapore Technical Standard Order Approval (STSO), Repair Design Approval (RDA) or minor modification?
You would need to hold a SAR-21 Design Organisation Approval (DOA) before applying for a STC, STSO, RDA or minor modification. Application for design approvals for STSO may be performed through CAAS’ Enterprise Safety Oversight System (eSOMS) portal, while those for STC, RDA or minor modifications will be processed directly by CAAS officers assigned to the organisation.
