What do I need to apply for a Singapore Airworthiness Requirement-Part 145 (SAR-145) Maintenance Organisation Approval?
An applicant, who intends to apply for a SAR-145 Maintenance Organisation Approval, needs to show cause to CAAS by producing satisfactory grounds for application of such approval. Satisfactory grounds include a Letter of Intent from a Singapore air operator or an existing SAR-145 Approved Maintenance Organisation. Once the applicant is assessed to be eligible, the applicant can proceed to apply for a SAR-145 Maintenance Organisation Approval formally through CAAS' Enterprise Safety Oversight System (eSOMS) portal.
