Do we need to discharge on BRIGHT if we discharge on ILTC portal?

Home and centre-based referrals

  • You should discharge referrals on ILTC

  • ILTC will send the discharge details to BRIGHT immediately


Residential referrals

  • If you discharge on ILTC portal, you do not need to discharge on BRIGHT. ILTC will send the discharge details to BRIGHT immediately

  • However, please note that if your process is to only discharge on ILTC portal periodically (e.g. once a quarter), your vacancy numbers on BRIGHT will not be up to date as your discharge details will only be updated every quarter. For this situation, we will need SPs to discharge the client on BRIGHT in order to free up a bed space on BRIGHT. Please also note that discharges on Bright are not sent to ILTC.

  • Our suggestion is for SP to discharge on ILTC immediately once a patient has been discharged.
