If my child already has external swimming lessons, will he still need to go attend the National Swimsafer Programme?
SwimSafer is a National Programme and is part of the PE syllabus. A student can participate and register for the next level/certification through the SwimSafer programme. The student will be assessed in the first session and placed into the appropriate group for the SwimSafer programme. An example would be a student who currently has a Stage 3 certification and would like to attempt the Bronze certification.
