What are the HCG enhancements taking place from April 2026?
The enhanced HCG will be rolled out from April 2026 to better support caregivers to further defray caregiving costs.
The maximum payout will increase from $400 to $600 per month for those with the highest needs.
The maximum monthly household income per person will also rise from $3,600 to $4,800, so more families can qualify.
