Subsidised nursing home placement is applicable for Singapore Citizens (SCs) and Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs).

If your loved one is not an SC or SPR, you may wish to approach the private nursing homes directly to enquire about the admission criteria and processes.

The basic cost varies between $2,000 and $3,600 a month to stay in a nursing home, depending on the level of care required. Additional charges include one-time refundable deposit and administrative charges. Other charges which are not covered by the basic cost may apply.
