What is the Seniors’ Mobility and Enabling Fund (SMF) subsidy?

Updated by AIC

The Seniors’ Mobility and Enabling Fund (SMF) supports seniors to age in the community by subsidising:

  • Mobility and assistive devices: Devices that support seniors with moving around, managing daily tasks at home, or improving their hearing and eyesight.

  • Home healthcare items (consumables): Items seniors require due to their medical condition (eg catheters, milk supplements, thickeners, adult diapers, nasal tubing and wound dressings).
