Who can apply for Migrant Domestic Worker (FDW) Levy Concession?

The FDW Levy Concession for PWD is applicable for care recipients between 16 to 66 years and with disabilities. Employers pay a lower monthly concessionary FDW levy of $60 (instead of $300) if they are eligible for this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

1) Citizenship -

The care recipient must be a Singapore Citizen.

2) Medical assessment

A Singapore-registered doctor must certify that the care recipient needs permanent assistance in at least one Activity of Daily Living (ADL). A functional assessment is not required if your care recipient has an ElderShield/ IDAPE claims approval letter OR a memo/ document from any Singapore-registered doctor certifying that he/ she is bedridden.

3) Relationship with the care recipient

The FDW employer must be (a) the care recipient OR (b) a family member. In the case of (b), the employer and care recipient must live together at the same NRIC-registered address.
