The Migrant Domestic Worker (MDW) Levy Concession for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) lets families pay the Migrant Domestic Worker levy at a concessionary rate of $60 a month, instead of $300. Each household is eligible for up to two MDW levy concessions, caring for two loved ones at any one time.

How to Qualify

To be eligible for MDW Levy Concession for Persons with Disabilities, the care recipient must meet the following criteria:

Age

MDW employers caring for Person with Disabilities can apply.

For greater convenience, those who meet the age, citizenship and residential address eligibility criteria for the care of a young child (below 16) or aged person (67 years or above) need not apply for MDW levy concession. This is because MOM will grant you the concession based on the information you provided during your online application for an MDW.

Same Address

If you are hiring the migrant domestic worker, you must be the care recipient, or living in the same address.

Nationality

Must be a Singapore Citizen

Requires Assistance with Activities of Daily Living

- Eating

- Bathing

- Dressing

- Transferring

- Toileting
