How are lessons carried out for Primary 3 Higher Mother Tongue (HMT) in YPS?
Primary 3 Higher Mother Tongue (HMT) curriculum serves as an enrichment module for our students who are interested and passionate about their Mother Tongue Languages.
In Yishun Primary School, Primary 3 HMT lessons will be conducted outside curriculum time, every Thursday 2pm to 3 pm. Parents are to make their own transport arrangements for their child after the HMT lesson every Thursday.
Students taking Higher Chinese Language (HCL) will purchase the HCL textbooks and activity books only (1 set).
Students taking Higher Malay Language (HML) and Higher Tamil Language (HTL) will purchase the HML/HTL and the standard ML/TL textbooks and activity books (2 sets).
