How does the honorarium work?

Updated by SPSVCO

As a token of SPS's appreciation to the VCOs for their case management support, an honorarium is issued. It can be used to defray any cost of transport or refreshments consumed during the engagement session.

$25 is issued for each progress report on a unique supervisee each month. The maximum honorarium that can be received per month is $100 (i.e. 4 report submissions on 4 different supervisees).

Progress reports are to be submitted timely by 2359hrs on the last day of the month in which the engagement with supervisee occurred. Any submission received thereafter will affect the issuance of honorarium.

Eligible honorarium claims will be received via PayNow into your bank account about 3 months after a progress report submission. This process is facilitated by the submission of the Vendor Creation form by VCOs during the onboarding phase.
