When will SPS contact me for installation of the Home Monitoring Unit (HMU)?

The Home Monitoring Unit (HMU) vendor will contact you to schedule the installation of tagging device, which may take place 2 to 3 days before inmate's emplacement date. It is also possible for the installation to be done on the same day as the scheduled date of emplacement. Until the vendor contacts you, no further action is required.
