What is the Day Release Scheme?

Updated by SPS

The Day Release Scheme (DRS) is a step-down arrangement for suitable Drug Rehabilitation Centre (DRC) inmates after they have completed their compulsory intervention programmes in the DRC. DRC inmates are allowed to work or study in the community and are required to return to a community facility at night.
