I am a doctor registered with an overseas health licensing authority and am currently residing overseas. Do I need to register with SMC if I wish to provide telehealth / telemedicine / teleservices to patients residing in Singapore?

Updated by SMC

Doctors, whether based in Singapore or overseas, must hold full registration* with the SMC and a valid SMC-issued practising certificate in order to provide teleconsultation services to patients residing in Singapore.

*Note: Conditionally registered doctors residing in Singapore may provide telemedicine services to patients residing in Singapore if approval has been granted by SMC.
