Can the SMC help me to assess whether there are grounds for me to lodge a complaint?
The SMC is unable to provide advice on whether there are grounds for an individual to lodge a complaint. A potential complainant may refer to section 40 of the Medical Registration Act 1997 and the SMC’s information sheet [PDF, 291 KB] for more information on what types of complaints the SMC will accept.
