There may be further requirements imposed by the Council that must be fulfilled by a conditionally registered doctor before he/she is eligible to apply for full registration. These requirements will be made known to the doctor at the time of registration into the Register of Medical Professionals. Please do check your conditional registration approval letter for the specific conditions for your registration. You must fulfil those conditions first before SMC can extend an invitation to you to attend the Pledge.

For some doctors, it may be because of the confidential assessment reports from their SMC appointed supervisors and/or confidential feedback reports given by their work colleagues which were requested by SMC (multi-rater reports). The invitation may be delayed if these reports are not satisfactory.
