What should I do if the Lot for which I am doing a search for is dead?
If a lot is dead, it means that the lot has been further subdivided or amalgamated. You will have to do a "Land Information - Lot History" search in INLIS to check for the subdivided / amalgamated Lot numbers before proceeding further with your search.
