What is the Paperless Title Scheme?

sla-logo
Updated by SLA
This Scheme is an arrangement between financial institutions/statutory boards and SLA where the title documents of properties with mortgage(s) and/or charge(s) to participating financial institutions/statutory boards are not printed for collection and are instead safe-kept at SLA after registration of a transaction.

It benefits parties who would have to safe-keep title documents because there is no risk of loss and hence, no need to apply for replacement title.
