Since the Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) has been merged with the new SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career), why are the courses eligible for SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) different?

The list of courses eligible under the SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) is curated based on industry needs and have stronger manpower-related outcomes, to help enhance mid-career Singaporeans’ job mobility and career resilience through substantive reskilling and upskilling. Hence, some courses which were previously supported by the Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) will no longer be eligible for use with the SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career). For a start, there are about 7,000 courses and the list will be reviewed progressively as new industry and manpower needs emerge.
