Why does the SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) only support skills-related courses?

Updated by SKILLSFUTURE

Technology and globalisation are changing the nature of jobs. It is important for Singaporeans to upgrade their skills to stay relevant and meet the evolving needs of the economy. We want to support Singaporeans in bridging skills gaps, broaden and deepen skills, and help them advance in their careers. This is in line with the objectives of SkillsFuture.

Besides skills-related courses, there are also lifestyle courses which are eligible for SFC.
