SFC is a broad-based initiative that encourages individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning. Apart from the SFC, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) also provides substantial course fee subsidies, at up to 50% to 90%, for SSG-supported courses to all Singaporeans in the workforce. Singaporeans who are 40 years old and above can also enjoy higher subsidies of up to 90% of course fees for MOE- and SSG-supported courses under the current SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy.
