Why can't I enable passkey as a credential manager on my phone?

Updated by SINGPASS

Your device has a limit on how many credential managers you can turn on at one time.

  • iOS: up to 3 credential managers at one time

  • Android: up to 5 credential managers at one time

If you already have reached the maximum of credential managers turned on for your device, you will need to turn off one of them before you can add Singpass.

How to enable Singpass as a credential manager

For iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone

  2. Tap on General

  3. Tap on AutoFill & Passwords

  4. Turn off one of your existing credential managers

  5. Turn on Singpass

For Android:

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone

  2. Tap on General

  3. Tap on AutoFill & Passwords

  4. Turn off one of your existing credential managers

  5. Turn on Singpass

If you are using Oppo, Vivo or Xiaomi devices, refer to the guide here.

You can now use passkey to login to Singpass or other e-services.
