Why can’t I request a PIN mailer on the Singpass portal for my transactions?
To strengthen account security, Singpass users are no longer able to request PIN mailers as a method of authentication, with effect from 7 April 2025. More secure options such as biometric Face Verification are now widely adopted to better protect users against fraud and scams.
If you need to reset your password, you can verify your identity using either an SMS One-Time Password (OTP) or Face Verification. To set up the Singpass app, you will need to first authenticate with an SMS OTP, followed by Face Verification.
