I am unable to access Singpass app's QR code scanner. What should I do?

The Singpass QR code scanner requires camera access to work, hence you will need to grant the Singpass app access to your device’s camera function.

How to resolve this issue?

  • Go to your device’s Settings menu

  • Enable Singpass app access to your device’s camera function

  • Try using the QR code scanner in the Singpass app again

If the matter persists, your device, operating system or browser may not be compatible with QR code scanning. However, you can still continue to log in using Singpass ID and password, followed by entering your SMS One-Time Password or by using Singpass Face Verification.
