If you are a new Singpass user, please register your mobile number with Singpass upon your first login to activate your SMS 2FA instantly.

If you are an existing Singpass user, you can log into your account at the Singpass Portal > Select the 'Set Up 2FA' icon on the scroll bar.

Alternatively you may follow these steps:

1. Log in to Singpass using Face Verification

2. Select 'Set up 2FA' icon

3. Select 'Register SMS 2FA'

4. Enter and verify your mobile number 

Singpass only accepts Singapore-registered mobile numbers. If you are residing overseas and do not own a Singapore-registered number, update your overseas address with ICA and use face verification when logging into Singpass and setting up the Singpass app.

If you need on-site assistance, you can visit any Singpass counter in-person with your original NRIC/FIN card and mobile phone to set up SMS 2FA.
