A strong password helps keep your Singpass account safe. Your password must meet the following requirements:

• 8 to 24 characters long, with at least 1 letter and 1 number

• Special characters are allowed (except spaces), e.g. hgu%7$

• Capital letters and symbols are encouraged for added security

• Cannot be the same as your last 5 passwords

• Cannot be the same as your Singpass ID

• Cannot contain your NRIC/FIN number or common words like "pass" or "pwd" (e.g. 12345Pwd, Password1, pass1234, S1234567)

Avoid using personal information such as your:

• Contact number

• Date of birth

• Identity card number

• Family member's name
