Your safety is our priority.  The transvaginal (TV) probe is cleaned and disinfected according to strict infection control standards. For every patient, we:
Cover the probe tip with a disposable protective barrier such as condom, to prevent any contact with body fluids.
After the scan, the probe is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using a UV disinfection machine, which eliminates bacteria and viruses.
