How can I communicate better with someone who has aphasia?

Updated by SGH-AHPEDIA
Speak slowly and use simple language, give them time to respond, and use gestures, facial expressions, pictures, or writing to support your message. Don't interrupt or finish their sentences, and offer choices or ask yes-or-no questions rather than open-ended ones.
