After head and neck surgery, when can I start eating solid foods again?

This depends on how well your wound is healing post surgery and your swallowing safety. The speech therapist will assess your swallowing when suitable. We typically start with thickened liquids or soft foods and gradually progress based on your swallowing function and healing.
