What is facial palsy or flaccid facial paralysis?

Updated by SGH-AHPEDIA
Facial palsy is a condition caused by inflammation or injury to your facial nerve, which makes your facial muscles weak. In the initial stage of onset, this may result in a droopy appearance on the affected side of your face, difficulty closing your eye fully, and trouble smiling on that side.
