Why can't I close my eye properly, and what should I do about it?

Updated by SGH-AHPEDIA
The facial nerve controls the muscles that close your eyelid. When it is damaged, you lose this ability. Under guidance of your Speech Therapist and eye doctor, you will be taught how to take care of your eyes and do exercises to prevent further eye damage.
