How do I know when my baby is hungry or full?

Learn to recognise your baby's feeding cues.Early hunger cues: Arousing from sleep, rooting (opening mouth wide and turning towards touch), sucking on fingers, lip smacking. Late hunger cue: Crying. Satiety cues: Slowing down sucking, stopping sucking, unlatching, falling asleep, turning head away. Feed when you see early hunger cues and stop when you see satiety cues, regardless of time passed. This helps your baby develop healthy hunger-satiety cycles. Feel free to approach your paediatric feeding speech therapists to find out more!
