Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you notice 1. Poor feeding: No interest in feeding, poor sucking, excessive sleepiness beyond normal newborn patterns. 2. Dehydration signs: Fewer wet nappies (less than 6-8 per day) or none in 12 hours, dry mouth, sunken fontanelle. 3. Significant behaviour changes: Unusual lethargy, persistent crying, or dramatic changes in feeding patterns. 4. Breathing difficulties: Struggling to breathe during or after feeds, colour changes. Remember to bring your baby's health booklet and feeding diary to appointments.
