What should I do if I have a voice problem and I need to speak in noisy places?

Updated by SGH-AHPEDIA
If you have a voice problem or have just undergone voice/ vocal cord surgery, it is important not to strain your voice. You can try to stand closer to the person you're talking to, avoid trying to talk over background noise, and consider using gestures. Teachers or lecturers should consider using portable microphones.
