What should I do if I notice signs of aspiration pneumonia?

Updated by SGH-AHPEDIA
If you notice signs of aspiration pneumonia (chest infection) such as increased coughing/choking, fevers with coloured phlegm, or general unwellness, you should: 1. See your doctor for early medical advice 2. Contact the Speech Therapy Department at 6321 4377 for an earlier appointment 3. In the meantime, try feeding slower and preparing food in softer, smaller pieces
