Must I use slippers/sandals at home, or can I go barefoot?
Home sandals are recommended if you experience pain on your feet and/or if there are wounds on the sole of the feet. This will reduce loading and pressure on the sore/wound area. Every step counts, even though you are only walking short distances at home; this includes transfers to/fro wheelchair – bed/sofa. Home sandals with anti-slip sole is recommended.
