What training does a SGH Physiotherapist have to go through?

Updated by SGH-AHPEDIA

SGH Physiotherapists receive regular in-house training and professional courses to continuously upgrade their clinical knowledge and skills.

As part of SingHealth's Academic Medical Centre identity, the department offers structured clinical observation and attachment opportunities for local and international physiotherapy students and practising clinicians. They also conduct specialised skills-training workshops through SGH Post-Graduate Allied Health Institute (PGAHI) for local and regional participants.

To improve clinical standards and quality, physiotherapists conduct and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects across SGH specialties. They secure research grants, present findings at local and international conferences, maintain 15-20 ongoing projects, and publish over 10 papers annually.
