What if my witness does not want to appear in Court?

Updated by SGCOURTS

If your witnesses are reluctant to attend court, you may file a Summons to Witness via CJTS to compel them to attend.

The application can be submitted only if the case has been fixed for Hearing before the Tribunal Magistrate and the hearing date has been fixed. Further, the application must be submitted at least 3 days before the hearing date. This application is subject to the SCT’s approval.

Please refer to the SCT User Guide on CJTS if you require further information.
