For CDRT matters, what is "Specific Performance"?

Updated by SGCOURTS

An order for specific performance is a court order that requires a neighbour to do something or to start doing something. For example, the tribunal can issue an order for specific performance requiring an individual to remove a permanent structure that has been proven to be illegally built on his neighbour's land or requiring an individual to repair a water leak that has been shown to cause flooding in his neighbour's unit.
