What oversight exists to ensure that deputies are acting responsibly?
The Office of the Public Guardian monitors deputies and may require them to submit periodic reports, including accounts of financial decisions made. The Court also retains the power to intervene in cases of misconduct or negligence.
Please refer to https://www.judiciary.gov.sg/family/deputyship for more information on deputyship applications in general.
