Should I participate in the CCDC?

Updated by SGCOURTS

Participation in the Criminal Case Disclosure Conference (CCDC) is optional.

If you decide to participate in the CCDC, it will help you gain a better understanding of the Prosecution’s case against you, and help you decide the best course of action to take.

If you decide not to participate in the CCDC, the Court will fix a date for trial once the administrative matters have been dealt with, and you will not have a chance to consider the Prosecution’s evidence before the trial. Similarly, the Prosecution will not have a chance to consider your evidence, which may, in certain instances, lead to a reduced charge.
