I wish to request for an adjournment of the hearing of my Criminal Case. How do I make the application?
If you wish to request for an adjournment or postponement of the Court hearing of your criminal case to another date, you will need to make an application to the Court before the hearing date. Any requests must be supported by valid reasons or may be rejected by the Court.
The request(s) can be made via https://icms.judiciary.gov.sg/.
If your application is rejected, you must attend the hearing originally scheduled, otherwise a Warrant to Arrest may be issued against you.
For more information, you may wish to visit https://www.judiciary.gov.sg/criminal/charged-with-crime and download the Guidebook for Accused in Person (available in 4 languages) found at the bottom of the page.
